Job Description:

Ferguson Enterprises / Wolseley Industrial Group is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Industrial Sales Manager in the greater Chicagoland area. If you are a professional, career-minded individual with a passion for sales and an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion dollar business, then this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will:

-Develop and maintain key relationships with vendors and suppliers to insure exceptional service levels

-Assign, monitor, set objectives for key accounts and sales representatives to generate sales growth

-Provide leadership and direction for pricing proposals and strategic plans for key accounts

-Accompany sales associates on customer calls

-Monitor market activity, sales trends and product performance

-Take ownership of solving problems and resolving customer complaints

-Create sales plans and prepare sales strategies

-Develop, lead, direct and evaluate a team of outside sales professionals

-Effectively monitor and manage individual sales representatives’ budget and performance

-Support business and sales initiatives through effective and efficient performance of self and team

Requirements

-5+ years of sales and management experience

-Familiarity with the Industrial market in Chicago and beyond

-Ability to apply advanced knowledge of specific technical area

-Ability to organize and prioritize work

-Ability to effective communicate verbally and in writing

-Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups

-Ability to lead, coach/develop and motivate individuals and teams

-Ability to efficiently operate computers and mobile devices

-Ability to effectively utilize Ferguson/Wolseley’s operating systems

-Must have valid driver’s license. Heavy travel required
